Crupet is a small village located in the Condroz surrounded by fields and woods. It’s crossed by several rivers. Crupet is one of the "Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie" (Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia) ! In Crupet you will discover a rich patrimony. Enjoy the landscape and walk along the guided paths. You can also discover and eat local and delicious specialities in four restaurants in Crupet. The village is ideally located in a very touristic region in the Namur – Ciney – Dinant triangle. These three towns are located less than 20 km from Crupet ; the Meuse Valley is only 10 km away. The Ardennes and Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse are close to Crupet.
Our house is called LE 14 because it is located at Rue Basse #14 and was opened in 2014. It is a typical 19th century rural house. Originally, the main building was only half the building ; the rest consisted of a small barn and a hayloft. The house is built entirely of natural stone (sandstone and limestone) with a slate roof. It was fully renovated from 2012 to 2014.
LE 14 is only 100 metres from a medieval tower, a classified building dating from the 12th century. You only have to cross the bridge to reach the keep. The village centre with the church and the Saint Anthony's grotto are just 300 metres away, up the hill.
LE 14 has all modern conveniences, with a pleasant living area and a mezzanine (standard 2 wheat ears). It accomodates 4/5 people (extra bed on the mezzanine), and also includes a baby bed and changing area.
LE 14 is a friendly and pleasant house for enjoyable, relaxed weekends or holidays, or a short break to celebrate a birthday, Christmas or New Year. With a bit of luck you’ll be there for one of the many different village events (secondhand market, bonfire, gourmet walking, ball game, old car rally, ...). You can also enjoy a pool table on the ground floor (entrance fee).
